 Backstory From My Old Comics: The Banshee was one of Darkona's two top-ranking minions. The other one was the Calico King. Banshee is a very wily-haired monster who can deafen, paralyze, and even kill people with her screams. Eventually, the Calico King betrayed Darkona and he and the Banshee ended up fighting each other to the death. It is believed the Calico King is a super-evolved Aridian mountaindevil and the Banshee is a super-evolved Nispatian mountaindevil.
Character Design Notes: I don't remember how I came up with Banshee's design, but I haven't really changed her much. Banshee in the RAU Gallery: Banshee was killed by the Calico King in the original series, so a future appearance is unlikely.

Symmetrical Banshee! Actually, only one-half of the Banshee had been drawn. I created the complete image by scanning it, flipping the image and stitching the two halves together.
